Interfaith Community Services provides three key services to address homelessness: emergency shelter for up to 49 people each night, short-term housing with or without intervention plans, and permanent housing solutions for homeless individuals or families with a disabled adult.

FATHER JOE'S VILLAGES
Father Joe’s Villages offers short-term housing that gets people off the streets and offers supportive services as they work to transition out of homelessness; a transitional shelter that works with families and people with life-threatening illnesses to secure stable income and a permanent home; rapid rehousing where clients receive short-term rental assistance and supportive services to help them achieve housing stability and income security; affordable housing, Father Joe’s Villages owns and operate over 400 apartment units with affordable rent for people living on a low income.

SECOND CHANCE PROGRAM
Each year, hundreds of justice-involved men, women and youth come to Second Chance seeking positive pathways to meaningful change. Second Chance offers specialized workforce readiness training, sober-living housing, educational programs and support services essential to achieving self-sufficiency. Sober-living housing serves as a bridge between treatment and independent living. Each home offers a highly structured environment, a sense of belonging and a safe place to ease back into the community.

San Diego County provides a comprehensive directory of resources for housing assistance from the state and county; including rental assistance and affordable housing.

CITY OF OCEANSIDE
Bridge housing in Oceanside offers three two-bedroom apartments with a total capacity of 12 individuals. Supportive services are provided to serve up to 24 individuals annually, aiming for an average stay of 90 days. The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, funded by HUD and managed by Oceanside Housing and Neighborhood Services, offers very low-income families the opportunity to select safe, decent, and affordable privately-owned housing. Participants pay a portion of their rent based on income, with the rest covered by the Housing and Neighborhood Services Department.
