CREATIVE WRITING
Our Second Stitch Creative Writing Workshop emphasizes finding the fun in literature & recognizing the creativity that already exists within ourselves. In these hour-long weekly meetings, we focus on short readings, individually respond to specific writing prompts, & then share our work & ideas as a group. The workshop’s larger goal aims to show how the imagination & the infinite variety of language can reshape our assumptions, offer us new perspectives, deepen our empathy, & build our self-worth.
