CALWORKS CHILDCARE PROGRAM
The CalWORKS Childcare Program was founded to provide subsidized services for welfare program participants and low-income families. CalWORKs childcare is administered in three stages. CalWORKs cash aid recipients are eligible for Stage One and Stage Two childcare based on their eligibility for cash aid. Families must also have a need for care such as being employed.

TK CALIFORNIA
TK California is an online hub for finding easy-to-use resources for administrators, teachers, and parents as California expands Transitional Kindergarten (TK). Transitional Kindergarten is a state-funded additional year of early education for children who are not old enough to enter traditional kindergarten but have completed preschool. This extra year is intended to bridge the gap between preschool and kindergarten, providing younger children with a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
